with-in a world of strangers, i have one single home
this world may constantly frown upon me, i have a smile that will always welcome me
there is a heart that never ceases to give
there is a heart that i will always return to, there is a heart that beats in time with mine
my mother.
if i have any concept of mercy, it is because of her kindness
if i have any understanding of patience, it is because of the countless times she has forgiven me
i could spend my entire lifetime attempting to repay my mother
and it would never be enough,
if i ever lacked a reason to believe in a god,
she would be my reason.

Mother's cardigan.
My mother's cardigan
Still hangs on the back of her chair,
A fluffy pink confection
Of kitten-soft mohair,
Take me back
Back to a time
Life was different
Things were simple
Surrounded by love
And adoration for each other
We stuck close
And
The Morning Light
There's a place in the morning light,
a moment...there just for awhile,
when the newness of the day shines
Mother
I left behind what created me,
She who held me in her arms
And whispered to me as a bairn.
I left behind what made me

My Mother a Class Act
Dinner setting, quite frankly I never seen so many
Bursting the pyramid into pepper, tonight's meal
