Rochester has a lot of good restaurants, and a lot of those restaurants are really great places for the entire family to go to. There are fast food places for the family, and there are also a lot of good sit down restaurants for the entire family to go to as well. So whether you are looking for a quick meal for the family, or are looking for a place where you can just have dinner without having to cook, and get some good cooking, you don't have to go very far. Here are some good restaurants to go to in Rochester.

Applebee's is my favorite chain restaurant to go to in Rochester. There are some good burgers on the menu, and the best part is that the menu is pretty cheap, and there is always something on special. The appetizers are pretty good, and if you aren't really as hungry as everyone else you can get a good appetizer at a good price, and not feel left out while everyone else is chowing down on their food. They just had coupons where you could buy Delta Sonic carwashes, and get a dinner at Applebee's for free.

My favorite place to go out when I am going to a restaurant is Tully's. They are located in Jefferson Road in Henrietta, and I have been going there since high school almost religiously. It was interesting because before my buddy dragged me down there I wasn't really thinking it looked like a good place to eat. Of course, after going there twice I was hooked on the place. There food is really good, and there isn't anything on the menu I wouldn't recommend.

If you are going to go there though, I do recommend that you try the tenders first. They are probably the best thing on the menu, and they aren't that expensive either. You can get the dinner, or you can buy them separate in any meal. I loved them the first time I tried them, and is usually what I get when I go there. I also recommend the tuna melt, and the ice cream is pretty good as well, although it is a big plate, so I don't know if you can finish just by yourself!

Other than that it is just your typical menu, and typical chain restaurants here in Rochester, which is why I typically go to Tully's whenever I am looking to go out to dinner. If you are looking for fast food we have the typical Burger King, McDonalds, and Wendy's but not much else after that. The moral of the story is that if you are looking for a good family restaurant that you aren't going to find too many of out there, go to Tully's and get the tenders!
