Which Grand Theft Auto series is the best?

While Vice City was very enjoyable and followed the lines that Grand Theft Auto 3 laid down, San Andreas expanded on those and made the game better. There is a wider variety of things to do and a lot more to see. In San Andreas you get to swim which is an improvement from the other Grand Theft Auto installments. There are also the workouts. You can change your stats also. By working out you lose fat, gain muscle, and raise your stamina.

As you progress through the story you can do more side missions as well. There are the Valet Parking missions, Pimping missions, and so many others. There are also many mini games that you can play. You also get to fly more planes and helicopters and there is a wider variety of cars to drive. Speaking of cars there is also a driving school where you can improve your driving skills so you crash your car as often. There is a bike school, boat school, and a flight school where you can improve on those skills as well.

While the "Kill Frenzy/Rampage" missions are gone you can still make enough money to buy all the things you need to get through the game. You can also get people to help you in the game so you have a less chance of dieing. You also get to improve your health so you don't die as easily. You also get girlfriends in this game. While sometimes in can be a pain to take them out there are rewards at the end. If you can get your girlfriend to 100% progress then you get special suits that let you do things that you usually can't do. One of the girlfriends lets you get out of jail free; another one gets out of the hospital for free. Some of them give you keys to their cars as well.

That is why San Andreas is the best Grand Theft Auto game out there. You can do so many things that are related to real life and are much more fun. Grand Theft Auto in my own opinion is one of the best games ever even though the games involve violence and dirty language; it's entertaining.

In the GTA game series you play a man who is a criminal. You escape from jail and on to the mean streets of Liberty City in the first game as the non speaking unknown character... this is in GTA 3. The first one out for PS2. it's simple. Kill and get money. Steal and get money. Pretty much do anything for money... and respect...

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
You play Carl "CJ" Johnson... native of Los Santos. Moved away from the pressure of thug life to the still pressured Liberty City. He comes back 5 years later. To his mother dead. His friends are turning on their people and his family is falling apart. This game is the greatest. Simply because the story line is more free. And the realism is extreme. Almost as if you are there. You hear other conversations and all. In the first two games the civilians who most likely get caught in gun fire. All look the same. They are just replicas of each other. They say the same things and don't differ from each other... in San Andreas... every civilian is different in their own way. They all speak and interact with each other... you have to feed CJ and Cloth him and he can work out and many other things. The newest addition to the game is that for the first time your character can swim!
