Do we not realize that most if not all of our founding fathers believed in God, read the Bible and wanted Christian values for this country. Why don't we just read some history books. Read about Thomas Jefferson and read about Abraham Lincoln, read about our former leaders and their beliefs in this country.

People died for this country to have Christian values and precepts. Why do we let the dark spirits of the world take over our schools, our children, and now our money? Where would one think the words, IN GOD WE TRUST came from, do folks actually believe someone could or would put that on their valued currency if they didn't want and believe it for this country? How ignorant have we grown to be in America? We throw out every principal people even died for at the drop of a hat because some idiot bureaucrat or loud mouth says we have to!

Here is what we do not realize. If you throw away what you believe in you will fall for anything. Something will replace what you have thrown away. Perhaps a foreign God will be on our money next? Who will you bow down and worship then?

Right now, right this minute a soldier is dying somewhere for our freedom, fighting somewhere for our freedom, living in deplorable almost unbearable conditions for our freedom and yes even being tortured somewhere for this freedom we have in American. When will we get some backbone to actually stand up for what we believe in.

People, radicals in other countries, blow themselves up for what they believe in, wrongly for sure, and completely unacceptable for us but they believe in something so strong, they will perish for it. Would to God we could care so much for Him and for our freedom and for each other that we could get some backbone and tell someone NO who wants to thwart our freedoms.

We gave up prayer in school, we are now looking at giving up the Pledge of Allegiance from what I heard recently reported on TV. Traditional values are what we give to our children to hang on to, belief in God and love and responsibility for our actions. Our belief system or values are as much a part of us as our actual physical body, they govern the decisions we make, they guide us in our everyday lives. Take away values and morals and you get a dysfunctional society, and people behaving like animals instead of human beings.

People who have lost their principles and their guiding morals and values are messed up and pitiful people who will fall for anything that comes down the road just to have something to believe in. We end up with dysfunctional societies and families and worlds, people who only want to fight and take from others and hurt them to get what they want. We need a moral compass in this world to live together in happiness and hope for the future.

Taking IN GOD WE TRUST off the money in the US is just one more step in demoralizing America and ultimately possibly bringing it to financial and moral decay and ruin.

I bet the forefathers, should they be living to see this country, would just be appalled at how far we have not come.
