Christianity, Patriotism, and The Future
Today, my writings are as a Christian Patriot. First, as a Christian who believes in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior as did a majority of our brave and courageous Founding Fathers. Secondly, as a Patriot whose past relation traveled on the Mayflower, landed on Plymouth Rock, and signed the Mayflower Compact. To young and old alike, I must speak about the foundation on which our country was built. In a manner of speaking, the pilgrims creation of the Mayflower Compact should be considered as an early form of the Constitution of the United States. In fact, I would like to include it in my writing. So, I would ask that you examine it closely because it demonstrates that Christianity and Patriotism are inseparable.

We, whose names are underwritten, the loyal subjects of our dread sovereign Lord, King James, by the grace of God, of England, Ireland, France, king defender of the faith, etc. Having undertaken for the glory of God, and the advancement of the Christian faith, and the honor of our king and country. A voyage to plant the first colony in the northern parts of Virginia, do by these present, solemnly and mutually in the presence of God and one another, covenant and combine ourselves together in a civil body politick; for our better ordering and preservation and the ends aforesaid, and by virtue hereof to enact, constitute, and frame such just and equal laws, ordinances, acts , constitutions and offices from time to time, as shall be though most right and convenient for the general good of the colony, In witness whereof we have hereunto subscribed our names at Cape Cod, the eleventh of November, in the reign of our Sovereign Lord, King James of England, France, and Ireland, the eighteenth, and of Scotland, the fifty-fourth. These men did not separate their faith from their form of government. This is "the" most important element of the foundation of our country-our Christian faith. This means belief in God the Father, and accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. The truth of the Gospel is what we must adhere to as did our founding fathers.
Oh, how I wish I could write enthusiastically about taking back our country, but, in my heart of hearts, I have a wealth of mixed emotions. On the one hand, I stand with all Americans seeing the necessity of waking from our and my apathy, and getting involved to take back our country's government. On the other hand, the scales
