Through the years mankind has learned from observing and studying nature and its changes. I do believe that we have much to learn from nature, even after all the developments made since the dawn of times. Nature is something that changes daily, and we can't overlook the changes that take place. Even the smallest creature has the potential to change an ecosystem, even if it's just one small modification.
Nowadays we have the technology, the scientists, and the willpower to analyze these effects on nature, and what we can expect from it. I have seen in my country changes that I didn't think would be possible, how the fact of having a few trees around an area made people less stressed, or happier, if you will.
It is something that we could expect everywhere in the world, and I believe that most of us know this for a fact: nature can have a healing effect on human beings. For instance, someone may have lived all their life in the middle of the city, trapped behind concrete walls and dull buildings, making that someone a "grey" person, not necessarily sad, or unhappy, but let's say that that person is not living its life in full, it may not even be enjoying life as much as it should. Imagine that at some point, later in life, a change occurs. He or she leaves the city where he or she has been living, and spends some time in the countryside. Obviously that person will experience some changes, for the first times some of those changes may not be pleasant, or enjoyable, but in time, we can't deny that it will have a very good influence on them.
By observing nature, and everything that is involved in it, one can learn how to lead a happier and more fulfilling life. It isn't hard to understand that if one lives in the middle of manmade buildings, one hardly will learn anything from them. One must pay attention to nature.
I have a view on how nature, or rather, the study and observation of nature, could lead to a better life for mankind. Stress and anger are ruling the lives of humanity in this century. There are news of wars going on everyday in the news, sadness, regret, all in all bad emotions and feelings have made their way into everyday life. We no longer spend time enjoying nature, savoring the beautiful and wonderful little things that nature has given us. We have societies in which spending time with nature is a way of life. Our modern society has no time for those issues.
Mankind has been ruining nature ever since we discovered how to take the natural resources
