Not only do you want to pull your hair out, but you would also like to comb the mess into a nice do, when you are a mother. Any mom knows the struggle when dealing with time constraints. As soon as you wake up, you have feed and dress the kids while picking up the house along the way. There barely seems to be any time left to spend on yourself. You are in luck; here are a few tips to looking polished when you have virtually little to no time at all to get ready for your day.
1) Pull your hair into a nice and simple up do. This will keep your hair looking polished all day, and it doesn't have to take all day to do it either. A slick pony tail, always works for a mom on the run. Instead of tying it off at the top of your head, place at the nape of your neck instead. Try adjusting it to one side slightly and curling a few strands to give it a look that says you do care what you look like. An even easier way to make your up do look glamorous is, when you step out of the shower, spray scrunching spray in your hair, and let dry. This will give you beautiful waves and texture to your look. Experiment with different styles, they all look good with scrunched hair, and the best part is, it's simple and fast!
2) Paint your nails. This shows that you do take time for yourself. Be careful not to let the paint chip because this will show the exact opposite. By painting your nails, you give yourself instant color that lasts. Try to paint your nails once every three days before you go to bed. When you wake up, you will have a much prettier appearance, just from manicured hands and feet.
3) Use tinted moisturizer. Every woman has enough time to smooth some cream on her face. We need moisture to keep our faces looking young and beautiful. Pick one that has some color hues to it, that way you get an even complexion while moisturizing all in one step.
4) Mascara and lip gloss are your friends. These two items along with your tinted moisturizer can take you from mom zombie to cute and fresh. Mascara will keep your eyes open and make you look less like you are sleeping. The lip gloss brings freshness and light to the face. It will also detour focus from your dark circles under your eyes, and place it where it needs to be, on your gorgeous pout.
Moms need to break out of the martyr roll and take a little time for them. Beauty is a self confidence boost and every mom needs all the boosts she can get.
