Poetry: Full moon

by Santi Meintjes

Created on: September 27, 2009

Pieces of my heart float

like the full moon breaking

on the water of the lake.

I try to make them whole

but they keep on dancing:

imitation of a flake

of snow, or blood.

The moon will be full again.

Blood will flow again.
