What I am about to share with you is a personal story that has happened to me this last week. You will find as you are reading that I made my mistakes and there were signs that would have prevented from being in this now life changing experience. Let me first say please learn from my mistakes. So here it goes...

Like a lot of people out there I was looking to get an easy loan that wouldn't require a lot of credit checks, because I don't have the best history with my credit. So what sounds better than getting a private loan from a private lender with no credit checks. This is the FIRST sign never take a loan from a private lender offering not to do a credit check. I put and ad on CRAIGSLIST asking for help and I was answered by these criminals.

Immediately they are asking for deposits and giving you ultimatum before you have established any type of rapport with them. So I got in contact with this so-called private lender and they had a gentleman who basically didn't know much about the company or the private lender and couldn't give me references for any other clients they have serviced this was the SECOND sign, a private lender should always have valid references. Then whenever I had questions about the loan I was not able to get a hold of the lender for a few days THIRD sign it should take the lender days to answer questions. So what the lender asked for was all of my private information, such as SSN, ADDRESS, PHONE, BIRTHDAY, CHECKING ACCT.etc FOURTH NEVER NEVER give this information over the Internet. I thought was being responsible by having everything put into writing and having a formal document, but what received was a typed document with the loan amount, there was no information about the lender, finance rates, term or anything you would find on a traditional loan from a REAL lender.

Now comes the interesting part, the lender asks for a $300 deposit upfront to process all the information, I told them to simply take it out of my $7000 but they insisted they I must send it by check or wire in order to receive the $7000 FIFTH mistake, a lender should never ask you to send money back. So I was promised the funds would be in my acct the next day and believe it or not it was but it wasn't the $7000 I ask for it was $8500 and I was told to wire back the $1500. When I questioned the representative on why they sent me such a large amount he claimed that it was a mistake. I found that hard to believe and my gut feeling told me that something was wrong but I
