Coming from Australia, it seems traditional to have flown by the time you are at least two. Distance mainly being a factor and the fact that I was born in the outback, going for a quick drive was never quick, so flying was a normal state of affairs.

Best Airline Experiences

Not to be biased but QANTAS is definetly up there with the best of them. They provide well priced, efficient and pleasant travel experiences. Australians just have that quality about them to put the most irritable flyer at ease. Their airlines are clean and well looked after, they have some of the best safety standards in the world. They fly to nearly every part of the world and they have such an amazing safety and security standard that you just feel safe being on them. Their Australian and so am I, thus proud of their achievements.

Not to be outshone, one of the best Airlines ever I have flown with several times is Thai Airways. The service is impecable and the Airline attendants will go out of their way to ensure that you have the best service at all times. They do not classify between First, Business or Coach, they treat each passenger as an individual and they embrace Customer Service to the Highest degree. They dress beautifully and usually are not challenged by differing languages, as you will find with many other airlines.

Thirdly but not last by any means is Cathay Pacific, Although I have only flown with them possibly three times, each experience has left me with excellent memories. The pure involvement and high level of service was outstanding, from the moment you enter the aircraft to departure, you feel important. There is a sense of security with Cathay Pacific that I feel is beyond reproach, it feels as if it is first class all the way, in every detail from welcoming, drink presentation, comfort and care it is flawless.

Worst Airline Experiences

KLM -Not only am I Australian but my parents immigrated to Australia in the late 1950's, so only my immediate family lives in Australia, the rest live in Holland, thus I am familiar with travelling internationally and as such when I was younger we travelled alot with KLM. I can never remember a good experience, even when I was young I felt they were rude, they didn't like me being on the aircraft, I always felt as if the whole experience for the crew was incredibally burdonsome. Their planes were dirty and their service rude and intolerable. There was one flight that we were on that I remember particularly well. The route from Australia
