It was goodbye and nothing more
Shattered were our dreams
Down in the bottom of the sea
Everything we once we believed we would be
Lost was my soul
Torn out and left a hole
He didn't even know
Everything there was to show
So cold in the night
We had our fridgid fight
I hate you was what I'd said
Wish you were dead
Was what he meant
But the meaning was bent
For he went underwater
And would never see his daughter
Today I think of what he could have taught her
How she would have loved him
So the future wouldn't be so dim
And tears forming on the rim.
These last thoughts.

Your last offer
And we will
