Pastry Passion is a game by Gamehouse. In this game, you act as an apprentice to a Parisian Baker to bake scrumptious pastries. It is a very straightforward games of sliding three or more in a row kind of games.
The point of the game is to gather ingredients for your pastry by sliding the ingredient in a block to make three (or more) of a kind in a row. The ingredients then transferred to a plate where it will be turned into a pastry. The quicker you collect the ingredients, the fresher the pastry, and you will get more stars. After you make certain amount of pastries and gain certain amount of stars, you win the level and proceed to the next level. You can use the stars to purchase certain equipments to help you with the levels.
Patisserie is the "adventure" mode of this game. To enable certain levels in Arcade mode, you must finish certain levels in Patisserie mode. There are total 60 levels in Patisserie mode divided into 15 type of pastry. You can return to previous level to replay the level.
Like all three in a row games, this game can be boring and repetitive, especially in Arcade mode. It is suitable for gamers who do not want complicated gameplay and only wants to take a break from thinking. I like to play this game when I am tired in writing and just need to refresh my mind. It is not very challenging. Most people are able to finish lower levels easily. For more advanced players, they are able to finish all the levels in one try, but it still takes some time.
I tried to play it at my old laptop with 512 MB RAM and with Windows XP but it was too slow there. It loads slowly, especially in introduction parts. The animation sometimes freezes and my laptop crashed a few times. I have no problem playing it in my new laptop with 2 GB RAM. The problem seemed to be with the graphic instead of the gameplay as the gameplay and scoring is pretty simple and straightforward.

- you have at least 1 GB of RAM or 512 MB RAM PC with decent graphic card.
Don't buy this game if:
