when they are at their most contented
pray and say your prayers
when they never point a single finger, far too distracted by the dancing flame
make yourself a home
there will never be enough opportunities
they will chase you away as if they've never know you
this must be a twisting dream
this must be a warning to myself
never trust these people
always keep something from them,
for they will abandon you when this ends
as you create a world of your own
they are living their lives.
