I see God.
In the eyes of a child, or in the fragrant flowers of summer.
In the rainbow after a cooling sunshower and in the friendly greetings of people on the street.
I see God.
I see Him in the colors of the autumn leaves and in the healing of those on the brink of death.
I see Him in the person comforting a friend after a terrible loss.
I hear God.
I hear Him in the laughter of a tiny baby who's just been tickled.
I hear Him in the song sung by someone who could never talk before.
I hear Him in the music of the birds celebrating the returning summer.
God is in the peacefulness of the streets just after a snowfall.
He is in the very small and very large things we encounter every day.
In the simple act of feeding the hungry and clothing the homeless.
The childless giving a home to a child who would otherwise have nothing.
God is there.
I see God in the love that we show each other every day.
For God is Love.
