A website is like a your space on the internet. You can use it for either personal or commercial use. Both will give you a lot of benefits. Having your own website is opening yourself to more opportunities to come. The web is becoming the ultimate source of all information. That's the reason, more and more people are getting the chance to have their names listed on this world wide directory, the Internet.

Making your own web page is not the hardest thing to do. It just takes time, patience, and willingness to learn. Even noobs can make their own websites in just a simple 3-step instruction.

In this article, we'll be talking about the step-by-step instructions on how to make a web page. These are the only things we need to focus on:

1. Prepare your computer. Make sure your computer can handle big programs. Website Editing tools are big programs which consume big RAM usage. Your computer has to meet the system requirements before we continue.

2. These are the most common programs we can use in making the whole website.

Adobe Dreamweaver - Formerly Macromedia, this has been one of the most common web editors and most advanced. It's very easy to use with so many built in features. It also has a number of extensions which can provide you with everything you need for a website. About the tutorials and how-to's, this is a famous program and if you search the internet, you will find a bunch of tutorials on how to use this. You will also find tips and tricks in making your website stunning.

MS Frontpage - User friendly and advanced, a property of microsoft. This software is good for beginners, it's easy to use and the environment is friendly. Although there are more people who use Dreamweaver, there still are a lot of websites made with MS Frontpage. Websites like (Example). Search the internet for more examples of Frontpage.

Those are two of the best web editing tools, there are more if you want to search the internet.

3. Make your website. You can start off by using templates. Just simply download some templates and edit them on your web editor. In that way, you will have an idea of what a typical website works and looks. Or you can also start from scratch and let your imagination and creativity flow.

4. Publish your website! Once you're done with the basics, it's time to show it off. Find a web hosting, could be either free or paid. It depends on how you're gonna use your website. For paid hosting, you can sign up for a Godaddy account or FatCow. For free hosting, you can go to l4rge or podserver, or you can search the internet for more. Once you have your web hosting account setup, time to upload your files to your server. You can either use an ftp client to upload the files to your account or manually upload them(only applicable if your hosting offers this).

Once you have all your files uploaded, you can go ahead and check your website!
