Mankind may have turned its back on God but God is still here with us. God is calling the plays and deciding the future of all of us according to our works. Each day there is news about floods, fires and human suffering but God was there with us. Although heartbreaking and painful to see the suffering of so many, we hear of stories of great miracles and feats performed by a simple man or woman. Do you really believe they just happened by accident to be there, to know what to do, to have just what they needed to do what had to be done. Did you see the man that was lowered by a crane and saved a woman's life, his crew standing by doing what they do everyday and without a minutes hesitation they went into immediate action. Do you believe that the rain fell by accident in the exact location (Atlanta) that only last year was complaining of lack of water.

Laughing at the length of the memory of humans, we are such an ungrateful bunch. We hate being without but if we have an abundance, we misuse it and squander our resources. Yet, we wonder if God has abandoned us! How can we deceive ourselves so easily. We hear message after message to conserve, save, be prepared for disasters, yet we are surprised and completely unprepared when it hits. How can that be! Still we want to blame God, God has turned his back on us. We follow as lambs lead to the slaughter.

God has given us his plan for our lives. God has given us rules to obey. God has given us a guidelines to live our lives. We act like this is something new we never heard before. Unbelievable. Imagine at what lengths, you are willing to go for your children to make them listen to your directions. Do you believe that God has done less? At some point each parent must allow their children to make mistakes and live with the consequences of their actions. Can you imagine what your children will say when you say, sorry I cannot help you with that problem, you will have to handle this one on your own. Do any four letters words come to mind? So here we are, at the crossroads of the world, some will perish, some may survive and some of us will praise his name and welcome his coming. Which people are you?
