Poetry: Lost love
He's all I needed to fall in love
He's the time racing and there's never enough
He is the reason I lie awake
The tears flowing a night
I wished god would take,
Love departs
The only one who knows enough of me to break my heart
He's the memories suddenly there don't know why
I drove home alone
at a halt of light
Still no sleep at night
You better hold him with both hands
Giving all love can
Look in his eye deeply
Lucky
You pace by me
Breathe,
There you go perfectly
I wished I'd be
Are you that in love?
Guess you got it right
If he only knew how I spent my nights
Remember when you talked to me
I laugh to feel relief
I couldn't see anyone when you are with me
I bet she's stunning
That's all you'll talk about
She has everything I now live without
You took one last look at me
I fake a smile
You will never see
What we should be

Poetry: Lost love
by Olu Burrell
I think about you when I'm looking ahead
And also in moments of reminiscence
But do me a favor and don't ask me
To tell you
The man in the jacket, walking through snow,
His faithful friend, always in tow,
Forever smiling, happy look on his face,
Whatever
So there we were
Looking up at the sky,
Together.
Truly thought
That you and I
Could storm
Any kind of weather.
I still
Do not wait for me with bated breath,
because my heart dances to and fro.
Its chambers are hollowed and empty
it longs for
As a bird perched on the edge of its nest
eyes searching the unknown world outside
strengthening its wings, yearning to fly
