There are no footsteps in my sand.
There is no one to hold my hand.
There is no one to dry my tears.
There is no one to soothe my fears.
There is no one to ease my mind.
There is no hope for me to find.
And like a soldier still I march,
Wishing life could be less harsh.
With depression I am overcome.
And for now I'm done.
