Identify Your Self
The search for your true identity is a task that must be accomplished if you are to make any headway in life. To begin the search, ask yourself the following questions; Why should you go through life without knowing what you are really cut out for? Why should you be a jack of all trade and a master of none? Why should you do a job just to put food on the table? Why can't you perform a job or provide a service because you love to do it? Why should you continue to run this rat race doing a 9 to 5 job that does not give you fulfilment? Why? Those questions are indeed a mouthful but the answers are just very simple.
The answer
Identify your competence, know for certain your area of strength and capitalise on it. The discovery of your natural endowment is paramount in this life. Without this singular act of finding out who you are and what you are blessed with by God to effortlessly deliver, you would be in a very great confusion. You may be likened to a man trapped in an arena with wild animals attacking him from all sides. Just imagine the sorry state of this individual, who whirls around in circles aimlessly trying to keep the predators away without success, becomes worn out and consequently falls prey to the wild attackers. The above description fits a person that has failed to seek a clear cut choice out of myriads of life's activities. I urge you therefore to identify what you are capable of doing effortlessly, capitalise on it and bloom in that area.
God created you out for greatness
You know, my friend, God cut you out for greatness. Please pardon me for seeking further support of my claims from the Holy Bible. In Jeremiah 1: 5, God told Jeremiah that before he was born He knew him. In the same vain, God knew you and planned you to be a positive wonder to your generation. So go to him in prayers and seek for direction. He knows you more than you know yourself. Seek him fervently and he will begin to direct your footsteps to that very thing you were created to fulfil on this earth. However, for people that are not so spiritual, you may follow another route to define the person you are and decipher your mission.
Pointers to your mission
To identify who you are and your areas of strength, ask yourself this question; what is my gift? Ponder on it for a while and you will discover it. The answer of course lies in the following: Begin to consider those things you do effortlessly, those things that give you joy, those things you do without getting tired or losing interest. Think about things you can even do for free because you enjoy doing them, your hobbies, even chores you carry out in your home and enjoy. Those areas are a few places you a may begin your search from to discover what you are passionate about.
Conclusion
I urge you to discover this thing, service or hobby and take deliberate actions towards the realisation of your discovery. Your success is guaranteed in this activity, chore or service. In-fact this area of intense interest is who you truly are. Find it, and you are on your way to fulfilling it,and having an awesome experience guaranteed to make you a happy person in this life.
