How to get free samples

Everyone loves freebies! The internet is full of places that offer free items or samples. There are some web sites that offer free items but then charge you for shipping which in turn makes the whole concept of free very misleading. Then there are some websites that do offer absolutely free items and can send an email to your personal email account with daily freebie alerts. When you receive the email you can pick and choose from an assortment of free items for the day. What a fantastic way to try out new things!

My personal favorite is heyitsfree.net and is the ultimate freebie site! This site has listing of free samples that are from various websites. You can sign up for their daily email and pick and choose which free items you want for the day. These are totally free and you are not charged shipping. They also offer printable coupons for you to use. The emails you will get each day are cleverly written and actually quite comical. You get to the point of looking forward to the email if for nothing else but a good laugh for the day!

Don't forget that most restaurants offer birthday clubs. You can get buy on get one free offers on your birthday and they will also send out additional offers from time to time. You usually have 1-2 weeks to use these coupons and you don't have to go on your actual birthday. In addition to the birthday club some of them also offer an eclub and you can receive offers from this too.

When I went to the various restaurant sites and signed up around my birthday, my husband and I ate dinner at a different restaurant for an entire week and my whopping bill for the week was $15! This was of course before the tip. You need to remember that the wait staff is not offering you the freebie and they deserve the same courtesy as if you were a paying customer.

Some sites request feedback of the sample they sent to you and it is important to follow up with them letting them know honestly what you think of their product. This helps the company improve on their products. During these tough economic times a freebie every now and then sure can help and there are plenty of companies willing to give out samples. I stock some of these samples in my camping supplies and others I will give to guests that stay with us. It is fun to go to the mailbox and see what freebie you are getting for the day!
