Stay

Life is a gamble that we all take,
Some show it real, some do it fake.
Its about those decisions that are of concern,
Enough said by me, now its your turn.

Why does it always have to be me?
Can't you ever set me free?
I've got no obligations, so then, why this toll?
That even before my imagination, I take a fall...

It's not the pain, I can bear through that...
But what about the reality upon which I just sat?
It happens so often that I become numb,
Then, be it my heart or be my thumb.

All this noise, I am losing my patience...
I just know that now things are becoming intense.
Before it's too late, you better come back,
Or else, I will snap and our world will crack.

I still plead to you and I still pray,
Hoping there's a comeback and you can stay.
But if not then atleast give me reasons,
'Coz I've waited too long and seen too many seasons.

I have always put my trust within you,
But, will we still get through?
It seems unlikely as days pass by,
And all I can do is sit and cry...

Life is becoming worse day by day,
But one day, I still know that you will come back and stay...
