I kept love at a distance, my destiny, you.
At that point in my life, I didn't trust much,
Especially love to be true, then I met you.
The moment we exchanged our first glance,
My heart skipped a beat, I didn't stand a chance.
The times we spent together our spirits so free,
Time sang to the wind.
I thought to myself, how could I be falling for someone?
That someone was me.
The time we spent together,
It was a gift from the heart.
Then fear consumed me and tore us apart.
Unwanted dreams of fear lead me astray.
My heart filled with fear of losing you someday.
I finally found your love and these dreams took it away.
My heart filled with fear and I just couldn't stay.
When the dreams came I couldn't take the pain.
The fears in those dreams haunted me again and again.
I had to leave you and push you away.
My heart was just breaking, it wanted to stay.
I tried not to hurt you, got scared and ran fast.
My true love is lost from fears in the past.
It's been sometime and the fears won't leave.
I still miss you and always grieve.
Those unwanted dreams that came my way.
The fear that they hold, it felt so cold.
The fear that has lost you,
I believed the fear and it finally came true.
That's how I lost my true love, you.
Those dreams still haunt me now.
In a different way that led me astray.
Some fear from a dream that left me a clue.
The love lost between me and you.

Poetry: My lost love
Losing and finding me
I lost more than I thought
I wasn't gonna say a thing
Just sit there and let you wonder
while I made
The Neglected One
Of course while at my worst, but yet somehow while at my best and most prolific
I am cursed to have those
Sonnet to a Princess
Good Princess fair as fragrant flower,
You've captured this unworthy heart.
I grow more fond
Love lost blew it all,
Pride take a tumble before a fall,
Missed the pilot of Mr know it all,
Waved away with a broken jaw.
I see reflections in the water
I hear his voice call my name
No matter how far I travel
The horizon always looks the same
Left
