You knew what I needed and wanted for me.
I designed a man you thought you could be.
You stayed by my side and became my friend.
Who ever thought this could come to an end?
The time we spent day after day.
Our friendship grew in a whole new way.
Then we were dating, love was here to stay.
For always and ever, here comes the big day.
You had a son, I took as my own,
I filled him with love and we built a home.
The big day was coming, the wedding was on.
The pressure was building, more than beyond.
I told you my fears of life up ahead.
I looked in your eyes, and saw your smile was dead.
I tried to protect you from pain you didn't need.
I had to be honest for us to succeed.
We needed some time, so I called it off.
I am sorry I hurt you, I too felt the loss.
The man that I met, was a good seed.
Something changed and we both felt deceived.
If only at the time that I had known,
The person that I wanted was the person you had shown.
How ignorant and stupid, how blind could I be?
The reason you changed was out of love for me.
How painful and awful, how hurt you must have been?
When you had just loved me, just being my friend.
The pain, loss, and guilt that I had for leaving you blue.
You know that I loved you and will until the end.
The unfortunate part is I lost my friend.
So if ever you need me, or just need to talk.
You've got the key to my heart,
The heart with a lock.

Poetry: Locked
by Lilly Mantra
I'm locked in a room,
Four walls, all I see.
I'm helplessly trapped;
I long to be free.
Sitting in a corner,
Knees pulled to
Swarming, off-shooting, multiplying: Thoughts lock me in.
That rattling, incessant voice; a destructive din.
My soul
Locked I was
Inside myself
Lost
Hoping to be found
Afraid to let anyone in
But longing
To do that which scared me

Locked are the halls of my heart
My feels unable to be reached
From below or above
I am void of all happiness
And I

Not Anymore
In my soul were many rooms
All were locked with bolts of fear
It seemed no lover dare approach
No reason seen to
