Our love is so pure so careless and free.
Then you needed space, so I let you be.
You know in my heart is a place for you here.
Though deep in my heart I want you near.
No matter how near or far you may go.
My love stand true cause love took its toll.
My heart will stay pure and strong as can be.
No one has the love shared by you and me.
My thoughts of you, come simple and free.
Your eyes, your sweet smile, or walks by the sea.
We had our rough times, most people do.
The things I remember are good times with you.
It may take years or lifetimes at that.
But time won't replace the magic we had.
Don't fight the love that we built so strong.
Cause here in my arms is where you belong.
You can search from sea to sea.
I know in my heart you'll be back for me.
How do I know? Cause love took its toll.

Poetry: Lost love
by Olu Burrell
I think about you when I'm looking ahead
And also in moments of reminiscence
But do me a favor and don't ask me
To tell you
The man in the jacket, walking through snow,
His faithful friend, always in tow,
Forever smiling, happy look on his face,
Whatever
So there we were
Looking up at the sky,
Together.
Truly thought
That you and I
Could storm
Any kind of weather.
I still
Do not wait for me with bated breath,
because my heart dances to and fro.
Its chambers are hollowed and empty
it longs for
As a bird perched on the edge of its nest
eyes searching the unknown world outside
strengthening its wings, yearning to fly
