Hot Damn
He came into my life and my spirit was on the floor.
Life had a hard turn and was dreary once more.
Somehow unknowingly he touched my soul.
A deep hearted, good looking and respectable man, Hot Damn!
Stars lit up the sky, watching a few fall in flight.
Conversation flowed all through the night.
My insides trembled, heart felt yes, mind held slow,
After days of resisting, a stream has to flow.
More time spent, my life was a glow.
How could one man touch my heart, soul and hand? Hot Damn!
Shocked at myself from the immediate attraction
I couldn't deny the feelings to the depths of further actions.
Obstacles that stood seem to melt in thin air.
Mixed emotions soon disappeared with him near.
The magic from him consumes any fears.
Feeling safe and content from my head to my feet.
My life feels complete with this man. Hot Damn!
