"FINE!"
What troubles you, dear?
Something I said, I fear
Your thoughts I can hardly opine
And in this last hour
Your look is so sour,
And your answer to everything?: "FINE!"
Another day passed,
The same as the last...
Though I served you dinner and wine
My lone though was "Ouch!"
As you slept on the couch,
But, once again, everything's "FINE!"
I started to freak
When it lasted a week
I said, "It's not your fault; it's mine"
But I only heard
That magical word
When you reassured me: "I'M FINE!"
Your silence spoke pages,
Sent shock through the ages,
And then put our love on the line
So I slammed the door,
To see you no more,
And, dear, I assure you I'm fine

It's when you refuse to make yourself heard
That others see who you are.
When everyone else
