With the hit television shows Miami Ink and LA Ink, tattoos aren't as taboo as they used to be. Many people are choosing to get tattoos to commemorate an event or someone special in their lives. Even more people are turning to tattoos as a form of personal expressions. Tattoos aren't just for bikers, rockers and all out rebels anymore. Even professionals are turning to the permanent self-expressive artwork of tattoos.

As tattoos are becoming more popular, tattoo shops are popping up all over Huntsville. However, not all tattoo shops are created equally. Each tattoo artist has their own personality and preferred art styles. Even still some shops may have great artwork but the personalities of the artist aren't as rewarding.

CMB Tattoos

There are three locations in Huntsville to choose from with considerations of opening a fourth shop on North Parkway. CMB Tattoos is the creation of Fred, who has had over 16 years of experience in the tattoo industry. He first opened CMB at 6398 University Drive and then opened a shop at 2706 Johnson Road in South Huntsville. Fred also bought what used to be Ink Worx located at 411-B Jordan Lane. It doesn't matter where you live in Huntsville because there is a CMB Tattoos location that would be convenient to you.

Greg Allison is a superb artist. In fact, his tattoo portfolio speaks for itself. He is easy to get along with and really listens to what you want. Quentin, also known as "Q", does some amazing portrait tattoos. Another artist on hand with CMB is TC. TC has over 26 years experience in the business so you know you will walk away with some awesome ink.

CMB Tattoos has a minimum shop price of $50.00. If you would prefer to set up an appointment you can reach the University Drive location at (256) 726-9800, the Johnson Road location at (256) 489-4556, and the Jordan Lane location at (256) 217-0294. The Johnson Road and Jordan Lane locations are open Monday through Saturday from 12:00pm to 10:00pm. The University Drive location hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 12:00pm to 11:00pm and are even open on Sunday from 12:00pm - 6:00pm.

Located at 4820 University Drive, Amber and Caroline are available for anyone who wants to express themselves through ink. They are both very upbeat and friendly. Their work speaks for itself.
