Poetry: Captions

by Dean Traylor

Created on: September 21, 2009   Last Updated: April 12, 2010

I'M NOBODY'S CAPTION

No captions capture me.
No pictures
No words
Can reveal the person you see.

For better or worse
Good or bad.
I'm more than a page in a book.
Or 'zine.
I can't be captured
In so brief a shot.
I cannot be judged
On simple thoughts.
Venture forth to read in me.
I do leave myself open
To a certain degree.
Maybe you'll find more
But not all of me.
