The Skye Loves You.
My name is something to be remembered. Growing up I'd always hear my mom's friends say things like "With a name like that, he's going to be famous." I was destined for fame, they'd think. And after hearing it so many times, you start to believe it. I did believe it. And they ended up being right.
My name is Axel Skye Taylor. My name and look is one thing. I'm not too tall, 5'10, straight dark brown hair I wear with my bangs to the side with sky blue eyes that I got teased for a lot. I was born with an oval shaped face that later in life gave me a strong broad chin with a pointed nose. My face is clear except for the light beard and mustache I've grown. Scruff, if you will. And I've got a smile that I've been told bring down walls strengthened with years of hatred and fear.
My personality and beliefs are another. I don't consider myself cocky, although people who judge me before they know me do. I'm just confident and know where I stand. I believe half the reason I'm on this planet is to assure happiness. I live to make you smile. I'm a goofball that does and says weird things. However, I can't tell jokes. But I try anyways.
I'm an honest guy with a tremendous amount of respect for a lady. I believe females have a hard enough life; they don't need us to complicate it even more. In middle school I planned on waiting until I reached high school to date. I saw my friends around me changing and knew I was too. I told myself I wouldn't date until I felt stable with myself. I guess that meant until freshman year.
With all this said, there's one very important thing left to introduce to you, my best friend. Hillary is her name, Hillary Lyn Gayle. And I can safely say I wouldn't be half the man I am now without her.
Aside from the 8 months we stand apart by birth, since I'm older, we've known each other our entire lives. Our mothers were best friends so they stuck us together all the time. They even told me I held hands with her at birth. Being so close to someone has its issues, though. We had a strong separation anxiety with each other during our entire child hood. While all the other kids played hide and go seek, we'd stay together and play hopscotch. Just the thought of being separated and having to find another sent chills down our spines.
Hillary has always been the smarts in our friendship, the serious one who always has a plan. She has always been a beautiful girl, though. With wavy, sunny
