When brides are planning around winter and fall wedding themes, beginning in September through the end of February, Nature is probably at its best for beautiful colors in golds, greens and shades of bronze for the fall season and winter whites and silvers for the winter season.

Here we'll give you some ideas to let Nature add her vivid colors to your venue, decorations, flowers, favors and even your cake to plan around the beautiful fall season.

Fall Decorations

While the basic fall colors theme can stay the same, you can add seasonal holiday themes to table decorations for Halloween or Thanksgiving. If your wedding is near Halloween, you can put little decorated pumpkins on the tables. If it's closer to Thanksgiving, place little pilgrims or turkeys around the table...

Use holiday theme ideas for your fall wedding decorations and incorporate ideas like decorated pumpkins, colored corn, squash, flower petals.

If your wedding is earlier, closer to Halloween, place little decorated pumpkins or jack-o-lantern candles at table settings. Or keep your decorations beautifully simple and seasonal by using Nature's own autumn goldens, oranges, bronzes and greens with leaves and flower petals sprinkled around the table.

Have vines filled with dark grapes, leaves, foliage and flowers on an arbor or over an archway. Stalks of colored corn and straw bundled together add flair to church pews. For an outdoor event, place them aside your walkway on the way to your altar.

Colorful table decoration ideas with a fun slant can include little pumpkin men with hats and big flowers, or little wooden shoes filled with decorative flowers or colorful squash. Whatever your decorating ideas are, the season itself should stimulate anyone's imagination.
