When you stumble and trip
Get lost; don't know what to do
When you lose that war
You're angry and you're through
In the mirror is the truth
A massacare behind the eyes
A mask, a front
A world built on lies
Those damn walls I built
Cage me inside
I think i'd let you in
But like a poser, you hide
With a heavy heart
My soul is being weighed
As it burries inside
Who I am begins to fade
It's cold and it's wet
Shades of green, Black, and tan
I relate as I let
You into my thoughts again

Poetry: Walls within
by Scott Scherr
From the lonely shadows I seem to cast,
I can hear It's name like a chain to the past.
It calls to me only when my weeping
THE BRICK WITHIN
I feel within my heart a brick
Holding me down to the ground.
And my foot, within a chain
There to pin down
Wall Around My Heart
The wall around my heart
Was built brick by brick
As you consistently,
Day by day, month by month,
And year
by Tom Mcmurray
I turn away the light of truth,
though bright it shines eternally;
as I now search the dark of youth
for life devoid of
by Asif Joosub
I am closed to the public
Renovations inside
Blocked congested sick
Quarantined walls within divide
I cannot confess
Walls inside
