Cool breezes surround me as the color of the leaves change their hues from green to golden yellow, crimson red, and the color of oranges.
I bask in the sun's glory as I sit beside a babbling brook and skip stones along it's outer banks. A gaggle of Canadian geese squawk as they drift along the swiftly flowing waters.
Summer's hold on Natures own has passed the baton to Autumn's beauty as she begins her change, same as the chrysalis does change to butterfly's majesty.
I sit and dream as the silence passes over me like death's shadow and the solitude engulfs me as I enjoy all the beauty that reigns before me.
The swaying trees, the gentle breezes; the birds flying high in the sky winging their way towards climates of warmth and clouds as they billow with radiance drifting aimlessly through the Autumn sky.
As I sit and dream of days gone by and those yet hence to be, and faded memories once forgotten and of dreams we can not see.
I await you my future, bring me home in Autumns arms.
