Suspended in time
These questions of mine
Hanging from a line
Into my mind
Suspended in time
These questions of mine
Not on shelves but hanging sublime
While the world passes by
Suspended in time
Every day, always mine
These questions seem to fly
While the world passes by
Floating along minding their own
Trying to find a mind to call home
They wait patiently as the world bustles by
Trying to let some one take them and lie
Slowing down to ponder and think

Hurry, sit down take your time
You never know when you're at the end of your line
Life isn't so fickle
So watch out you might get cut down by a sickle
