My knowledge and understanding
Is tactfully commanding
The decisions made more clearly
Through the mind that sees sheerly
To try and grasp the information.
This is where my consternation
Begins, for when I know whats right
I cannot put up a selfish fight
For what I want. I can only hunt
Around my logic for a second opinion
That would allow a free decision.
Ultimately, it seems to be
That choice comes with impurity,
For ignorance is bliss and the ignorant
Are free and compelled to do what they want.
But I maintain that what makes me content
Comes from a series of arguments.
And after thoughts have been stripped,
Then contradicted, their meanings flipped,
And both sides of logic can be seen
Then we understand what it might mean.
I say might, so as not to make fallible
The things I say in poetic babble.
For nothing is necessarily true
As long as I don't surely know you.
I can only understand what you might think
When reading the thoughts off my minds brink.
