California Fire's ...
I hate all of these California fire's.
How it destroys killing people's hopes and desires.
I hate how it has become an ongoing thing.
Always leaving us trying to recoup every spring.
Leaving our beautiful green mountains all burnt and changed.
How can anyone do something so hateful and deranged?
All the damage goes on longer than one would think.
Long after the flames are out, even after the smoke and stink.
Leaving families devastated to hurt and heal.
Still others in confusion to spin and reel.
My heart aches to see the burnt mountains in stubble.
The one that caused it will eventually see their trouble.
Firemen and volunteers all giving their all.
In our eyes they will forever stand proud and tall.
As they tirelessly work as a well educated crew.
To fight the raging flames and the eerie hue.
We are forever grateful for all that they do so brave.
To show our gratitude however small, to salute or wave.
They saved us all from a terrible blaze.
They will forever deserve our gratitude and praise.

I see so much destruction. I'm surprised I am OK.
