I have always believed in angels, and that we have a special angel watching over us as we live our daily routine called life.
The passing of my Mother hit me very hard. She was diagnosed with Cancer of the lungs, and died only 2 weeks later. Complications from her lung biopsy were to blame. She was so very strong, kind, and full of love. I still miss her so very much, even though she's been gone now for over 21 years. I've learned to deal with the loss of my Mother, through prayers, and also believing that she was watching over me constantly.
My ex-husband's Grandmother, and my Mother shared the same day of birth. January 11th. Different years, but the same day. Both beautiful women. I woke up early on the morning of February 7, 2004. A feeling of dread came over me, and I said to my husband that I felt that Lois was going to die that day. She had been put into a home for the elderly months ago. No phone calls, or changes in her health were passed along the communication lines, but I felt something was wrong...
Sure enough, at 9:15 PM, February 7th 2004, Lois was called Home to our Lord's Kingdom. What struck me even more, was the fact that now not only did these two women share the same day of birth, now they also shared the same day of passing. February 7th.
Chills ran through my body as this realization came over me, starting from my feet, and slowly moving upwards.. What are the odds of such a thing happening? Was this a sign from my guardian angel, telling me that she will also come for me when my time comes? Was this a message that there is something else, something better after this life? I broke down in tears as this impossible message was relayed to my soul. The sorrow that I carried all those years for my Mother's loss, now lifted up from me, releasing me from it's bondage. I never felt closer to my Mother since her passing, as I did at that moment.
I believe even more since this happened, that there is something more for us. We don't just disappear when we die. Our loved one's, our guardian angels come for us, and guide us to our Heaven, in God's Kingdom, where we will be united, forever.
