Poetry: A fall

by Emily Tebbutt

Created on: September 19, 2009   Last Updated: September 23, 2009

Monday morning I wake to see your face,
If I could only fall back sleep.
But we have many years together in grace,
I know my love for you is so deep.

Don't wake up just yet my beautiful baby,
I will try not to be too late tonight.
Just keep on dreaming maybe,
That you shall become my knight.

And if I don't come back at all,
Don't shed a tear.
Don't go running away not yet fall,
I will only be a pray away to let go of your fear.
