Anna was racing down the steps with her bag. She grabbed a piece of toast, stuck it in her mouth, put her shoes on and ran out the doors heading for school. She took out her necklace and wore it on. The sun made the key sparkle as a tear ran down her cheek. She looked at the key. A key, just a key from her parents. That's all they gave her before they died. Her heart ached as she remembered when they died. She wiped the tears and ran across the street without looking, the lights turned green. A car at full speed came directly at her as if it wanted to kill her. She looked up and suddenly everything went pitch black.
She could hear the sirens and the panicking around her as she was lifted in the ambulance. Thump, Thump, Thump, her heart was pacing faster and faster as if it wanted to rip out of her chest. She found herself lying on the bed. The doctor spoke to her gently and told her that she could go home because it was a minor problem.
Soon it was night when she was on her her way home. She was walking until the road and sidewalks were blocked so she entered the hedgerow maze. Just when she was close to finding the way out, she heard footsteps. Anna turned and found a man following her. Something flickered in the moon's light. She saw that it was a chainsaw the man was holding. She tried to scream but her voice was stuck in her throat. The man was coming closer as he turned the chainsaw on. Running as fast as she can, she ran until her legs wouldn't carry on anymore. But the man was right behind her. She ran even faster due to an adrenaline rush. She finally found her way out but the man still followed. She closed her eyes as she ran but when she opened them and looked back, no one was there.
She ran home scared to death. To get the incident out of her mind she took a long warm shower, changed, then went to sleep. She woke up at 3:40 a.m distracted by a noise. It sounded like a faint tapping. So she got up and looked at the window. She almost had a heart attack because a kid was knocking on the window screen. She thought he needed help so she was about to go outside but she realized that he was a shadow. She watched him as he vanished. But when she looked in the mirror he was still there watching her. Just then the faucet of the bath tub went on, and there was blood all around. She heard millions of children laughing. Then a girl with long beautiful black hair in a white dress appeared in the mirror. She climbed out and reached for Anna. Anna ran towards the front door but the girl pulled her back. Anna kept trying to get up but was pulled down in the cellar. To this day no one knows what had happened to Anna. But many believes that she is the replacement of the ghost girl. some people say they had seen Anna. A girl with long beautiful blonde hair and a white dress still wanders the house waiting for her replacement. All that's left are the nail marks she made on her wood floors trying to escape. Every night the same thing would happen to her house. Blood on the walls, children laughing, and lights flickering. The ghostly lady still wanders the town... EVEN TILL TODAY.
