America has become a drugged up nation. Many of us are on some type of prescription medication either because we really do need it, or because our doctor talked us into it, or we saw it on TV. It is true medications can save lives, but isn't it ridiculous when we are flooded with drug commercials at home? I'm not going to take something just because I saw it on TV, get real people. Also TV has become an advertiser for vaccines recently, big surprise. There is a saying, "You can't believe everything you see on TV," so why should we believe all these vaccines are necessary?
First, lets take a look at the new H1N1 vaccine craze. It's due to be released this fall- pretty soon by the sound of it- and has only been tested a scant few months. What's worse is the Center for Disease Control is pushing this vaccine on pregnant women and children when they admit to not even knowing the correct dosage yet. How ridiculous! To me, we should be extremely hesitant before recommending any drug or vaccine to pregnant women as we do not fully understand the effect on the baby. The vaccine is also said to contain mercury and other harmful ingredients much stronger than the regular flu shot. I can tell you as a pregnant woman and mother, I will not be getting this shot for me or my child. If I can't eat tuna fish because of the mercury, then there's no way in hell I'm getting that shot.
Our babies and children are also heavy targets of over-vaccination. Look at all the shots pumped into a baby its first year of life, it's over a dozen easy. It is even proven that these vaccines don't entirely prevent a child from catching the disease, but merely protects only against that particular strain. Great, so we're pumping drug after drug and chemicals galore into our babies and kids for a "maybe they might not get it."
As I've found out vaccinations can be harmful to babies. At four months, my son was given four shots at his local clinic. Turns out these four shots were actually six different ones, some were combined. That day I felt skeptical about giving him all at once, but I made the mistake of trusting the nurse. Two weeks later, my son was hospitalized at Children's Hospital having seizures. After many tests, the experts could find no obvious cause; the doctor said it could be from his vaccines. He explained that if a child's immune system is over-loaded, it begins to fight against it's own body and can cause this condition. Doctors should divide up the shots and not give so many at once to avoid this, recommends my son's neurologist.
Now what about vaccines for adults? Why are there so many bugs and diseases on the rise? Perhaps because we are over-medicating ourselves and viruses are becoming resistant. Back in the old days, you hardly ever heard of cancers and many old timers lived to be 90. Nowadays someone in every family has or had cancer and is vaccinated probably yearly. Sure there are other things in the environment that cause cancer, but you can't tell me putting chemicals into our bodies is good, or that these shots don't wear down our immune systems as result of us trying to constantly process them. So when the government, or media pull their scare tactics, I'm not going to fall victim. If you all want to keep dosing yourselves with legalized poisons, then go ahead. As for me I'm going to give mother nature some more credit.
