I have this tendency of letting the light get dim
I'm not sure why,
but its always been that way.
For the first time in my life I have a strong and steady light.
He is my bright star.
His smile pulls me out of my darkest mood.
His laugh is contagious.
His eyes remind me of why I love life.
His voice brings me comfort.
His hands soothe my soul.
And he gave me the greatest gift of all,
our little star.
