Poetry: My pain

Deep inside not seen not known, lies pain .

Sometimes misunderstood, confusion, anger at times rage.

Carried through life a little girl cries.

Do not want it set it free let it go, how do I release it?

I will use it to fuel wisdom, to fuel courage to fuel strength.

But it lies there dormant at times.

Turn the page, leave that chapter behind, begin a new book filled with joy.

I will no longer ask why, I understand now that others inflict pain when they themselves are hurting.

I will pray, I will let go.
