A new you: The benefits of exercise

Exercise is the key to a superior and longer life. From boosting your mood to improving your sex life, physical activity is the easiest way to get impressive results and benefits. Feel recovered, look improved, have more energy and live longer. The merits of exercise- from preventing chronic health conditions to promoting weight loss and better sleep. All people can benefit from physical activity regardless of age or physical ability.

There are 7 benefits of regular physical activity.

1. Regular exercise can improve your mood.

Need to blow off some steam after a nerve-racking day?

A twenty minute workout at the gym, at home or a brisk walk around the block will calm and relax your mind. In fact, exercise stimulates various parts of the brain, releasing endorphins that leave you happier. If you exercise regularly you will look your best and feel younger then you are which can improve your self-esteem and boost your confidence.


2. Exercise combats chronic diseases.

If you are worried about heart disease or osteoporosis more physical activity can be the ticket.

Regular exercise helps you manage high blood pressure and slows down cholesterol. Exercising increases high density lipoprotein (HDL), having good cholesterol while decreasing triglycerides. This keeps your blood flowing efficiently by lowering the buildup of plagues in your arteries. Exercise allows you to benefit outrageously keeping you away from type 2 diabetes and certain types of cancer.


3. Regular physical activity manages your weight.

Drop those excess pounds and keep fit, get off your comfy couch and stop watching TV, take fewer naps, no more sitting at the computer and take a walk or a stroll in the park.

Go jogging, skipping or running but make sure you bring lots of water with you to drink.

Warm-ups take little of your time to do; just fifteen to twenty minutes and you are done and can make all the difference.

When engaging in exercises your body burns calories, the more intense the workout the more calories you burn-and the easier it is to keep the weight under control. When you are at work take the stair instead of the elevator, it will not cause you to be late. If you have thirty minutes to an hour for lunch walk to your favorite place instead.


4. Exercise boost up your energy level.

Making your bed, grocery shopping, household chores and washing the car are all forms of exercise or physical activity. Plus these activities give you the energy you need
