There is a burning deep inside
eating me up,
engulfing my wounded pride,
tears dripping down my face
creating puddles in this empty space,
nothing but darkness surrounds my soul,
my painting is mournful,
truly a work of art.
black is the color of night,
fueling countless terrors,
scaring children who can't fight,
Its eating my soul
piece by piece,
there is nothing left.
All i wanted was quiet and peace,
yet what I received was Hell,
eternal damnation,
the darkness in which I fell.

Poetry: A fall
Monday morning I wake to see your face,
If I could only fall back sleep.
But we have many years together in grace,
I know
Haven't had a nice day
since, I don't know, way
long before I fell for you.
At any moment, I'm hoping you too
will realize we
Three straight minutes fo silence
hastened by an angry good-bye
More silence presses againsyt greedy ears
as a single tear
Notice is served of our fall from grace
That hatred kills
That nationalism kills
That religious righteousness kills
These being
by Joseph Wardy
Fall from our feet...
And experience physical shock.
Fall from a relationship...
And learn or be resentful of the experience.
