Blighted Souls
Broken glass, and unkempt lawns,
houses overtaken by years of neglect,
and malaise;
the symptoms of and victims of,
blighted souls.
Look into their eyes,
as broken as the panes on windows,
smashed, for no reason
other than, just because;
souls blighted,and unkempt,
from years of neglect.
Filled and fueled,
with the gasoline of hate;
allowing the conscious,
to light a fire,
and firebomb the innocent.
Having moved from physical harm,
my heart feels no less pain;
watching daily reports,
of the pillage to persons,
and community,
only sorrow for those that remain.
The darkened, blighted souls
of those,
compelled to destruction to self,
and others.
Pray God, the madness stops,
and civility breaks out,
in our cities,
and around the world.

Fear of the unknown.
What does he know?
He knows pain, depression, self
It would be nice to be nature today. I want to flow like the rivers and oceans.
Shine like the sun and stars. Be relaxed
