Poetry: Be my Valentine

My Valentine

My life asks for your love,
And I hope it won't fly away like a dove...
Love is prone as a twine,
So, I ask, if you will be my Valentine.

I have never felt this feeling before,
When I stay awake everyday until four,
Then, my eyes start to get sore,
And, I can still feel you inside my core.

My life does not exist without you,
And my love for you is very true.
You might ask me for some proof,
So, I will simply jump off the roof.

You are a major part of me,
Which holds together my integrity.
Without you, I will cease to be,
And so will God's creativity.

It isn't hard to say 'I love you'
Or pick up the broken pieces too...
It is done by the whole world's crew...
But how? Is the mystery to undo!

I ain't any clever Einstein,
Or some scary Frankenstein,
But, trust me, with me, you will be fine,
So, please become my Valentine.

I know our love is divine,
So come, let us together have some wine,
For you have come in my life as sunshine,
So, please become my Valentine!
