Success in life may be simpler than we think. I would answer the question above with the questions below:

1) Do you have a person/persons who are happy to see you and should you be gone, you will be sorely missed?
2) Have you impacted positively on anyone's life? - be it a friend, a child or even a stranger who needed help? And do you constantly seek to do so?
3) Whatever capacity you are in - from the highest paid worker to the lowliest one - have you been able to make a contribution (no matter how small)?
4) Do you tell yourself that no matter what the adversity you face in life, you need to move on and still live as best as you can?

It's not about having the most money or material possessions; it's not about being the most famous or popular; it's not about having the best brain in the world. Success is about making our presence here on earth matter and I believe everyone is capable of being successful in life.
