There are many reasons to believe in God, too many to mention. However, the evidence is out there we only have to observe our surroundings, to validate it. We only have to observe a beautiful sunset or a sparkling rainbow to catch a glimpse of a divine plan in action. What about the miracle of life itself, the way each part of our bodies if working correctly, communicates with another to achieve its many complex tasks. How does the moon know when to come out or the sun know when to go down, what about the fascinating myriad of wonderful patterns in snowflakes. Who tells the grass to grow, or the birds to sing. Why (for those of us that believe in angels) do we find a feather when we are at our lowest ebb.
What about the cat or dog that shares our home and teaches us much so more than we teach them. It begs to ask the question, of the two who is more evolved ? Who tells our p[ets to come over to us when we are feeling sad ? What about the majestic mountains and the tumbling waterfalls did they just arrive one day like the morning post ? Or was it part of some grand design, how about when we pray for the impossible and receive the unimaginable that is beyond all our expectations. Does that not make you wonder who imagined that into being. The phone that rings with an unexpected call from a trusted friend just at the time we need those words of comfort ?
Yes, inevitably there are times we do not receive that which we think, we need. If we are honest, when we look back with hindsight ,did we really need it at all ? We have free will to do good or bad and therefore must sometimes accept the consequences of our actions or how would we learn. How could we measure good if we have no experience of bad for if one ceased to exist neither would its partner, for we would have no measuring tool. Why when we meet someone for the first time do we sometimes feel we have known that person all our lives? Is it perhaps because some loving being is sending us just what we need at the precise moment we need it ? For me personally, the evidence surrounds me every day of my life. What do you think ? I would be interested to find out !
