The Prophet of Islam

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. All praise is due upon the creator of all.

Just as the moon glimmers with light reflected from the sun in a harsh hopeless night, so did Muhammad (sallAllahu 'alahi wa sallam) glimmer with a spiritual light reflected from the truth in an isolated ignorant era.

Many in the present day and age accuse him of having attributes that completely oppose his true nature. However, the truth is that Muhammad (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) was of pristine character- a character that softened the hearts of his lovers to the extent that some started to say "Without having ever seen him, they are preprepared to sacrifice themselves for him".

His generosity to be not mentioned is like not mentioning the price of an expensive garment to an eager buyer- how will that garment sell? For days his Jewish neighbour threw her garbage over the messenger of Allah (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) and one day the same did not occur. Muhammad (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) was worried as to why this particular day his Jewish neighbour had not come to abuse him. He thus went to her house and enquired about her health (which was not so well), upon seeing Muhammad's (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) concern she embraced Islam!

His love to be not heard of is like not hearing the adhaan (call of prayer) in a precious mosque from a passionate lover- how will the people be enticed to rush to prayer? For many years, Muhammad (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) was married to his beloved Khadijah and when she died the thought of remarrying only arrived a few years later. So precious was she. What about his people? Why did his beard moisten from tears he shed for the Muslims? Why?

His guidance to be not followed is like not following the straight path in a forest where all paths are wrong but this path- how mayest the person attain freedom? For the Muslims, living a life like him is one of immense honour and a ticket to the love of God. Consider the verse from the Qur'an "Say (o Muhammad-sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam): If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins"

Yet, like the dying flowers in a gloomy winter is the like of the love and respect modern individuals owe Muhammad (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam), there is no brightness no warmth. If for you Muhammad (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) is paedophile, then for me he the most modest man on earth, if for you he was mad, for me he was the most sensible man on earth and if for you he is caller to misguidance, then for me I would not have found guidance except through the guidance bestowed to Muhammad (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam). So, if my love was great, I would almost surely say..."May my mother and father be sacrificed for you o Messenger of Allah! (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam)"
