She Showed Remorse
Two young people fell in love
During their long and cold winter
They only wore one tattered glove
And the man stopped trusting her
She would disappear for days
When their love turned blue or grey
She moved about to and fro
He didn't know where she'd go
And their love became haunted
She'd return when she wanted
With new outfits and clothes
She loves fabric, and that's all she knows
On one return, he declared war
When their love existed no more
Because she gave up and wouldn't try before
This time he thought she opened a door
So that she can return to his soul
And she saw light, unlike the mole
For once, she showed remorse
During the battling discourse
She went into her bedroom
And destroyed all her clothes
She wanted to live and exit the womb
And realized what she knows
Is that her love must rise and go
And she shouldn't move to and fro
And how she must work with him
For the sake of them
However, as the days passed
To herself, she had asked
These clothes are all I know
Should I stay or go?
And she chose to leave
While he remained to grieve

Time was I was a wandering star
With a restless quenchless soul
Time was I had an unquiet heart
And from dream to dream I'd
Post Bellum
Forgive me just this once, as I have done
so many times before; but never won.
Slander me until your tongue sets
