Nudity is part and parcel for many of going to the spa but for some, taking the plunge and baring all can be revealing in more ways than one.
First, remember, you do not have to go nude - many spas offer a choice of going native or wearing some small item like a swim suit to hide your modesty but if you are the only one in a bathing suit you might feel a bit over dressed for the occassion.
The thing about nudity is that it isoften the largest (in all ways) and least attractive people who insist of going in the buff and then where do you look? Can you keep your eyes away from the fact that his stomach serves well as a cover-all, it is so large, or her breasts seem almost to rest on her knees? The fact is, yes you can. Once you get used to it, going nude is just another thing you do at the spa and so long as everyone is nude, there is no tproblem.
Even Adonis loses his attractiveness when his belly fur is revealed and even you with your perfect figure can look less alluring if everything is shown clearly so don't worry about it. If you want to go nude in the spa- go for it. No-one will bat an eye-lid or make anything of it, they are all in there to get healthy and enjoy their spa without the encumbrance of clothes.
The first time can be the most nerve-wracking so a few tips help. Take a small towel with you. Most people use this to sit on as even the most hardened nudist does not take kindly to sitting on a surface where someone has just sat in the buff. If you feel a little embarrassed you can always use the towel as a strategic cover-up too. Once you gain confidence you may feel you can hang your towel outside the sauna room with the others but if you want it, like a comforter , it will be there for you.
Try not to stare- first timers find their eyes take leave of their sense and it can be very obvious it is your first time if you stare at other people in the nude or try to avoid looking at them at all. Simply treat people who have no clothes on as you would treat everyone else and you will find after a while it gets easier and you feel less self-conscious.
One final tip - be aware of the limitations to thenudity. Many spas have nude and clothed areas so always make sure you do not inadvertantly wander into a clothed area in all your naked glory - then you will be stared at. You can usually book a nude session if you feel it is the right thing for you to try and many people swear that going nude allows the body to really take advantage of the spa. Steam can escape, you get less heated and you find it is more comfortable to sit in a sauna naked. Going nude can be as revealing as you want it to be so remember to sit properly, with decorum and not take nudity to mean revealing everything to all and sundry.
Nudity is good in the spa and if you choose to go nude you will find it easier to deal with each time.
